FNDN Basketball is a community-driven program dedicated to developing athletes on and off the court. We focus on skill development, mentorship, and creating opportunities for players to grow in confidence, discipline, and teamwork. Our mission is to build a strong foundation for young athletes—helping them succeed in basketball while preparing them for life beyond the game.

HOW WE SUPPORT

FNDN Afterschool Training Program is designed to elevate athletes’ skills over time. Players focus on skill refinement, strength and conditioning, basketball IQ, and game strategy through structured drills, personalized feedback, and competitive play.

After-School Program

FNDN Team Training strengthens individual skills while improving team performance. Sessions focus on game-like scenarios, conditioning, and strategy to build cohesion, efficiency, and confidence on the court.

Team Training

FNDN 1-on-1 Training provides personalized basketball development tailored to each athlete. Sessions focus on ball handling, shooting, footwork, decision-making, and building confidence and basketball IQ.

1-on-1 Training

FNDN Group Training (max 4 athletes) combines personalized coaching with small-group competition. Athletes receive targeted feedback while applying skills in live, game-like situations.

Group Training

FNDN Summer Camp is a high-energy, clinic-style program designed to help athletes build confidence, sharpen their skills, and compete at a higher level. Through structured drills, game play, and personalized coaching, participants develop fundamentals while having fun in a supportive and competitive environment.

The FNDN team is made up of passionate coaches, mentors, and leaders who are committed to creating meaningful experiences for every athlete who walks into our programs. Each member of our team brings a deep love for the game of basketball and a shared belief in its power to teach discipline, resilience and providing a safe space!

Deidre Beaumont

Manager of Operations

Kae St. Kitts

Coach Kae has been with FNDN for the past three years, playing a key role in overseeing operations while shaping the organization’s creative direction. She is also the visionary behind nugift, where she works as a multi-disciplinary artist. Kae brings bold yet accessible creativity to every project she touches. A powerhouse within the basketball space, she has collaborated with organizations such as the Toronto Tempo, Canada Basketball, and the Toronto Raptors. Beyond her visual artistry, Kae is a classically trained musician with over 15 years of experience.

Head Coach 

Christianna Crooks

Coach CC has been with FNDN for three years and is currently preparing to graduate from Leicester Law School this July. She also serves on the Board of Directors for LayUp Youth Basketball. Passionate about making an impact, CC aspires to be a positive role model while continuing to grow the game in meaningful ways. A fun fact about her is that she will never say no to a dessert or sweet treat.

Head Coach 

Maezell Del Mundo

Coach Mae has been with FNDN for the past year and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in the UK. Her coaching philosophy centers on developing each athlete as a person first and a player second, with a strong emphasis on building confidence, resilience, and a genuine love for the game. A fun fact about Mae is that she began playing basketball in the 4th grade and continues to play overseas today.

Coach 

Rabia Priebe-Nizar

Coach Rabia has been with the FNDN coaching staff for three years. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes playing hard and playing smart, believing that advantages are everywhere when you know how to identify them and work diligently to create them. She is currently pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. A fun fact about Coach Rabia is that her childhood nickname was “Aunt Drew.”

Media & Content Coordinator

Thurga Srisathananthan

Thurga has been with FNDN for three years, collaborating closely with organizations such as Kickback, Canada Basketball, Scarborough Shooting Stars, and the Toronto Raptors. In addition to her personal initiatives, she gained hands-on experience as a live broadcast intern at CBC during the 2026 Olympics and Paralympics. Thurga is the eyes behind the lens at FNDN, helping to grow the organization’s presence both on and off the court, while also leaving smiles and positive energy in every room she enters.
